| Gel Polish Fingers - Each appointment includes a prescriptive manicure, tailored to your nails and lifestyle. This may include a builder gel (similar to BIAB/ Builder In A Bottle) for added strength. My gel polish manicures are known for their long-lasting wear and flawless finish, leaving nails polished and well cared for. I specialise in natural nails only and do not offer extensions, nor do I remove work from other technicians or home manicures. I use professional Magpie Beauty products, HEMA-free, hypo-allergenic, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, manufactured in the UK and Europe, with over ten years’ experience supporting healthy, beautiful nails. This treatment includes nail shaping, cuticle care and a prescriptive French (white or coloured tip) gel polish finish. Glitter polishes and shimmer/chrome/glitter topcoats are included at no extra cost. Results last 2–4 weeks, depending on nail health, lifestyle, and aftercare. Complimentary removal is included with reapplication within 4 weeks when removal is selected. I do not offer other nail art. | £50 |

Aftercare
To ensure you get the best results and maintain the benefits of your treatment, it’s really important to follow aftercare.
Although your Gel Polish is completely dry before leaving the salon, it continues to fully harden over the first 24–48 hours. Please take extra care during this time to ensure the longevity of your manicure.
- During the first 24–48 hours, avoid swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, and prolonged washing or bathing.
- Excess water and chemicals can cause lifting, chipping, or fading and discolouration of Gel Polish. Wear gloves when cleaning, washing up, gardening or doing DIY.
- Tanning lotions and certain beauty products can cause discolouration of Gel Polish, so be sure to wipe over your toes after application. Always wash or wipe your nails thoroughly after applying body creams, sun protection, or insect repellent, as ingredients such as DEET and lanolin can affect the polish.
- Apply cuticle oil and hand cream 1-2 daily to keep the nails and surrounding skin nourished. This helps prevent splitting, breaking, chipping, and peeling.
- Do not pick or peel your Gel Polish. This can severely damage and weaken the natural nail and nail bed, which may affect how well your next manicure lasts.
- Always return for professional Gel Polish removal or purchase a removal kit from me for safe removal at home.
On rare occasions, if a nail becomes damaged, chipped, or lifts, please book in for a repair or remove the polish immediately. Leaving damaged polish on the nail can lead to further damage and may allow bacteria to develop, potentially causing green staining of the nail plate.
Please remember to book your next appointment in advance, as last-minute availability cannot be guaranteed.
Complimentary Gel Polish removal is included with reapplication within 4 weeks for fingers and 4–6 weeks for toes.
